Following the recent completion of these 2 houses by the dedicated client, we were pleased to see the buildings featured over a 5 page entry in the June 2023 edition of the self-build magazine 'Build-it'.
We were very fortunate to be able to design these 2 'mirror image' houses for a client who loved classic modern Californian design following his past experiences in working with houses for famous film stars.
Therefore the building process was not only wonderfully crafted but carried out with an underlying enthusiasm for modern design resulting in an exceptional result. David Burrows, the client / builder should be congratulated.
Planning approval took a year to achieve as we needed to demonstrate that the Tehidy area of Cornwall already contained a number of 30's and 50's style houses alongside the traditional ones, and so these 2 new houses will help to reinforce that aesthetic in the locality.
